AROUND THE WORLD:
2023 SUMMER CAMPS AT THE COOK'S WAREHOUSE
Summer camps at The Cook's Warehouse are live! We have created all new menus for 2023, and the theme this year is AROUND THE WORLD. We will dive into specialties from across the globe, exploring cultures through food. By presenting unfamiliar ingredients and cooking techniques in a comfortable learning environment surrounded by peers, we hope to broaden students' perspectives about the people and places around them.
Each camp session last five days, Monday through Friday. Over the summer we are stretching across three continents, focusing on five different countries or regions each week. Each camp will cover basic fundamentals--including knife skills, kitchen safety, and cleanliness--setting your child up for a lifetime of adventurous eating. Students will work in teams of four to prepare each day's menu. After finishing up in the kitchen, campers will be seated to enjoy the meal they worked so hard to create.
Students will receive a culinary passport to start the week, and each completed day will earn a stamp to commemorate the journey.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT INGREDIENTS: Our camp menus contain chicken, beef, pork, seafood, and gluten. Nuts and common food allergens are frequently used in our kitchens. If your child has a food allergy, dietary restriction, or adheres to a vegan, vegetarian, or pescatarian diet, please contact classes@cookswarehouse.com BEFORE booking so see if an exception can be made. We cannot make any changes or accommodations on the day of class.
Kids Camps: Ages 6-11 (For the safety of our students and consideration of our staff, we cannot accommodate children under the age of 6.)
Teens Camps: Ages 12-16
